As a Painter, I've heard many theories about "art". One of the theories I've heard most, has to do with some sort of "perfection" as it relates to painting things representationally in "one stroke". Fortunately, my common sense has never let me believe that to be perfection. More accurately, a painter would have liked the stroke or simply decided to leave it and do no more. As yet I've not seen "perfection" from a human hand. What I have seen is that in many areas of endeavor a "stride", so to speak, is hit. And if one continues to work in the direction of one's stride, the work can be accomplished with ever increasing efficiency and conservation of effort. In the work I do, I continue to strive for excellence and connect with the emotional, spiritual or unseen content that exists in woman and mankind. Since I am a part of that kind, it is where I find greater passion with which to mesh into paint.
