Devoting herself full-time to her art, Sarah
vander Helm has developed the ability to challenge an captivate a viewer
with her work. This talent and dedication has led her to being highlighted
at group and solo shows in Oklahoma, Texas, Canaa, China and Luxembourg.
Additionally she has been recognized with numerous awards and honors.
Recently Sarah was awarded the Platinum Palette in the juried national
exhibition, Best
of America! 2006, presented by the National
Oil and Acrylic Painters Society.

Sarah's work is a valued part of private and public collections,
including the Chongqing Municipal Museum in China. During a three residency
in Luxembourg, her paintings, prints and engravings were honored in Espace
Paragon Gallery and Chapelle du Rham. Since returning to the the U.S., her
work has been featured in other international venues, such as the Association
Presse Papier de Trois-Rivieres in Quebec, Canada and Gallery Konschthaus beim
Engel in Luxembourg. She also exhibits regularly at the the M.
A. Doran Gallery
in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Eureka
Fine Art Company in Eureka Springs, Arkansas an
Artist's House Gallery in Philadelphia, PA.
Born in 1970, Sarah van der Helm earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts
Degree from Oklahoma State University in 1995. Sarah is an approachable artist
who welcomes visitors by appointment to her studio in Denver, Colorado.
