Did You Think All The Masterful Pieces of Art Had Sold?
Compare The Old Masters to New Masters
Left: W. "Buck" Herbert Dunton 1876 - 1936 "McMillian, Guide" 1834 - 60 x 56 Oil
Right: C. Michael Dudash "A Word From Home" 32 x 36 Oil
Both of these masters then and now began as illustrators. "Buck" Dunton was one of the six original Taos Society of Artists painters who drifted into New Mexico in 1912. After enrolling in an Ernest L. Blumenschein art class at the Art Students League in New York, Blumenschein encouraged Buck to take a leap of faith and move to Taos.
C. Michael Dudash, like Dunton was a top ranking American illustrator who migrated West from the east coast in 2012, one hundred years later. Michael is incredibly pasionate about his life's work. He has received numerous prestigous awards for his paintings depicting the old American West.
